With artwork from Chelsea Rose AKA Lucid Rose I give you!!!!!!! Dub Side of FatVonFree II, all guitars, basses, vocals, keys are by me. My homegirls Bree and LeAnne played all the drums on this. I hope you dig it, I had an amazing time making this. The drums were made when my homegirls came to visit me in December of last year. We cut them all in Yokohama. They left and I used the drums daily to make my Jamuary Jams for the instagram hashtag. Had an amazing time. Cheers to a New Beginning!!!
I got introduced to reggae music when I started playing in bands at Eglin AFB Florida. It wasn't until I moved to Okinawa Japan in 2002 that I got introduced to the world of Dub Reggae through the likes of Lee Scratch Perry and King Tubby. In 2017 I dropped my first Dub Side project. I had a lot of fun doing it during #jamuary. It has been a couple of years and I have been itching to do another. This project came together pretty quick to my surprise. I didn't know I would be this excited working on each track. The Jamuary hashtag on instagram was a great inspiration for it too.
