I sat down on November 2nd and drug stuff I have been recording on my iPad, and things I captured with guitar rig’s looper/tape recorder into ableton. I started dragging in bits and pieces and just started creating/mangling. End a track with some type of opening. Start the next. Took me two days. All one project file. I could have hashed this out and then made a proper album and sang..and whatever. But I finally realized this is the type of stuff I have been wanting to really do. I hear folks doing stuff like this and it always blows my mind. So I am really excited to share this. Geeking out really. This is volume one. Just madness. Sound design. Ableton. Playing guitar and bass in ableton and also on my iPad. Sampling small snippets in a couple spots. Lots of foley. Played key bass and some Rhodes in here also. A couple opening radio snippets from the homie FYNN. And lots of film noir from my stash. Enough rambling. I finally have a really really cohesive thing that’s just madness and interesting. I will be doing more of these. Stay tuned. And thanks for following along and listening.
